FilmInitiativ presented the following films from May to September 2012 in a special program celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Cologne Africa Film Festival "Beyond Europe" as a gift to the Cologne audience in 13 neighborhoods of the city. The program ran under the title "Africa goes Veedel" and the audience was thoroughly impressed by the films shown. They are therefore recommended to anyone who wants to show outstanding films from Africa that reflect the diversity of form and content of filmmaking there.
