A young Burkinabé leaves his village and embarks on a journey to Italy. Years later, he looks back on his past life and questions his path. He feels a disconnect from his family. He searches for a way to turn back time and sets off in search of what he has lost. From Burkina Faso to Northern Italy, BRAVO, BURKINA! is a lyrical and dreamlike journey between two continents and the different dimensions of space and time. In his first feature film, director Walé Oyéjidé explores the relationship between love and migration and presents a new perspective on migration and memory culture.
