The situation is particularly difficult for BIPoC (Black, Indegenious, People of Colour) without an Ukrainian passport, as they do not have the same rights as federated Ukrainian citizens. The fact that they lived and studied permanently in Ukraine is overlooked by the offices and it is likely that they will face deportation on 31/08/2022. This would jeopardise their academic careers as well as the livelihoods of many of their families. To counteract this structural inequality and to give these people a chance for a future, we need a lot of support!
